After winning the first event of his season, Cole Powell has found himself chasing mechanical problems in his most recent Pro Late Model races. Despite these challenges, he’s managed to keep running towards the front of the field with 6th and 7th-place finishes in the those recent events.
“I am surprised is all the mechanical issues that we’ve had this year,” said Powell. “After the first night when we we won, it seems to be everything on the car has been either breaking or malfunctioning. Chasing all of that hasn’t been the best, but hopefully we have all dialed in for Friday’s 35 laps.”
