Cole Powell is aiming to bounce back to the top of the leaderboard at this Friday’s 75-lap Pro Late Model special event at Delaware Speedway. After a victory in his first start of the year, last week saw a sixth-pace finish as the crew battled mechanical issues.
“Last week we ended up fighting a carburetor issue. Every time in the middle of the corner when I would get on the gas the motor would hesitate before firing,” said Powell. “During the off week we have replaced parts, changed fuel lines, and cleaned everything up. It shouldn’t be a problem this week for the 75 lapper.”
